Coming from different and complementary universes, the three members of BxOs meet at the crossroads of blues and sound experimentation, noise and ambient, text-based songs and improvisation, the funny and the serious.
Digging up the dry bones of a distant blues, they begin working together in 2018. Fredéric Le Junter’s mechanical sound machines and a few words mingle with David Bausseron’s raucous and volatile guitars and Jean Bernard Hoste’s melodic electrons - two companions also forming the duo Dirty Primitives.
They perform on stage during the ten years of the radio program "Treizième Zone" at the malterie in Lille in March 2019 and then at the Festival Densités in Fresnes-en-Woëvre (55) in October 2019 (association Vue d’un Œuf ).
After these first decipherments, the trio became BxOs in 2021. The group has stripped away its hidden skeleton and surveys landscapes as a framework for its improvisations. We will attend playful wanderings with ghostly beacons, visits of dreamy, desert or even maritime territories.
David Bausseron (guitares), Jean-Bernard Hoste (looping objects, drum machine, synthesizer), Frédéric Le Junter (voice, lyrics, sound machines, objects)
